Spreadable Honey (also known as creamed honey) is a delicious way to enjoy your favorite sweet treat.
“Creamed” honey is often misleading because it actually does not contain cream, so I chose to call mine “Spreadable” to avoid confusion.
Essentially I allow the honey to slowly crystallize at cool temperatures while stirring every hour for several days. This encourages the crystals to form extremely tiny, smooth crystals. These crystals are completely undetectable and give the honey a texture similar to peanut butter.
The resulting product is smooth, spreadable and MUCH less messy.
